Anthology Submission Terms & Conditions

 Once submitted, all entries are considered final and will not be returned to the author, regardless of acceptance. Authors are encouraged to retain original copies of their work.

Authors will only receive a publishing contract if their stories are accepted for publication in an anthology. Receipt of a submission does not constitute acceptance or an offer to publish. 

For the integrity of our anthology and the fairness of the competition, we require that all submissions be original works. By participating in this contest, each author affirms that their submission is their own creation, not AI generated, has not been published previously in any form or medium, and is not currently under consideration by any other publisher or contest. This ensures a level playing field for all participants and upholds the standard of unique and fresh content that our readers expect.

All stories submitted remain the intellectual property of the author. When you submit your story, you authorize The Writer's Nest, LLC and its publishing partners to review and evaluate your work for publication in an appropriately themed anthology, without asserting ownership rights. Should your story not be selected for inclusion, The Writer’s Nest, LLC and its publishing partner will retain no rights to the submitted work, and all rights revert to the author for their use.
